Thomas Joseph Thyne (popularly known as T.J.Thyne) was born on March 7, 1975. He is an American Film and Television actor. He is the son of John. J. Thyne and Catherina Thyne. He has five siblings. His brother, Tone Thyne is a television producer. John Thyne III, another brother, is an attorney intended to run for the Santa Barbara City Council in 2009.

Thomas Joseph Thyne started his education at the East Ridge Middle School, at Ridgefield, Connecticut. He later shifted to complete his high school from Plano, Texas. He completed his graduation in Theatre Programs from the University of Southern California in 1997.

Thomas Joseph Thyne co-founded Theater Junkies, a group engaged in arranging workshops and professional development of actors at Greater Los Angeles, in 2001.
